Mayor Valery Denice Davis

Mayor Valery Denice Davis is the daughter of Edwin and Reeda Barnes Lindsey. She has three sisters (Linda, Sandra and Erika) and three brothers (Calvin, Bruce and Edwin III). She’s the mother of two son, Martin and Jared Lindsey also the grandmother of five grandchildren. Mayor Davis is a graduate of Fort Valley State University with a bachelor’s Degree in social work. She later attended Liberty University where she received her master’s Degree in Christian Counseling Ministries. She is also a member of Deliverance Outreach Church where she teaches teen girls Bible Study.

Mayor Davis is currently serving Macon County in the following compacity: Development Authority Board of Macon County, Macon County Board of Family Connection, West Central Georgia Community Action, Inc. Board of Macon County and GMA District 8 Second Vice President. “I love the City of Marshallville and my desire, along with the City Council is to make Marshallville the best it can be for all its citizens’ says Mayor Davis.
